Children’s Home
At Nissi Project Uganda, we provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children who need care, protection, and hope for a brighter future.
We open our doors – and our hearts to children who have been abandoned, neglected, or left without care, giving them a place to call hone and a future filled with hope.
Safe & Secure Shelter
Every child deserves a place where they feel protected. At our home, children have safe beds, clean surroundings, and a peaceful environment where they can rest without fear. It’s a place where they can truly call home.
Loving Care & Guidance
Our trained caregivers provide daily nurturing, encouragement, and guidance, helping children navigate life’s challenges with compassion. Every interaction reinforces the message: “You are valued, you are loved.”
Meals
Healthy bodies create happy minds. We ensure children receive balanced, nutritious meals every day, giving them the energy to learn, play, and grow.
Daily Life Skills
Life at the home goes beyond care. Children learn practical skills like personal hygiene, chores, teamwork, and responsibility—building confidence and independence for the future.
Play & Recreation
Playtime is essential for healing and joy. Through outdoor games, creative arts, and music, children develop social skills, self-expression, and lasting friendships.
Spiritual & Emotional Development
We nurture hearts and minds through counselling, mentorship, and spiritual guidance. Children are empowered to heal from trauma, strengthen resilience, and embrace hope for the future.
Meet Jennifer
At just 1 year old, Jennifer was abandoned and left without anyone to care for her. Her early life was filled with loneliness and uncertainty, with no safe place to call home.
But everything changed when she came to Nissi Project Uganda. Surrounded by love, care, and hope, Jennifer’s smile has returned. Today she is thriving in school, making friends, and dreaming of a bright future. Her story reminds us that every child deserves a chance to be loved and to belong.
