We give thanks to God for His continued care and provision for our home. Recently, the Lord made a way for us to receive new mattresses, bedsheets, mosquito nets, and banco beds for our children. What a blessing this been!
Our children were sleeping in very poor condition. Some shared torn mattresses and sheets, and others slept on the floor. Nights were often uncomfortable, and mosquito bites were a constant problem. But our faithful God, who sees every need, heard our prayers and provided through generosity of our friends.
When the new beds and bedding arrived, the children were overjoyed. Their smiles and laughter filled the entire home. One child shared honesty and said:
“We used to sleep on torn mattresses and old torn bedsheets, and we didn’t have mosquito nets. We were always falling sick from malaria. But now, we have new beds and nets. I thank God that we can sleep well now”- “Samuel”
Those words touched every heart present. What many take for granted, a soft bed, clean sheets, and protection from mosquitoes has become a precious gift of comfort and health for these little ones.
Each night now begins with thanksgiving prayers, as the children lie down peacefully in their new beds. Truly, “He gives His beloved sleep.” – Psalms 127:2
