Nissi Project Uganda is a registered nonprofit organization committed to restoring, transforming, and building stronger communities.
Over the years, we’ve served faithfully reaching orphans and vulnerable children and families with education support, feeding programs, orphan care, healthcare, discipleship and community empowerment – even while operating in rented space. Our vision is to one day see our children learning, growing, and thriving in a permanent Christian environment, a safe, nurturing home and school that reflects the love of Christ.
As we look to the next five years, we are trusting God to help us take a bold step toward permanence, sustainability, and greater impact.

OUR STRATEGIC FUCUS
By God’s grace and through your partnerships, the next five years (2026-2030) will be the years of faith, growth, and long-term progress, transforming lives and building toward permanence.
1. Education Support & Sponsorship
Education remains at the heart of restoring hope.
- Support 3,000 vulnerable children with school fees, supplies, and mentorship.
- Provide Christian discipleship and life guidance to help children grow in faith.
- Partner with local schools to ensure quality education and accountability.
- Launch a Christian School Vision Plan, our faith-driven roadmap to start our own school.
- Begin raising funds and materials toward establishing the first permanent classroom block on future Nissi Project land.
2. Orphan Care & Safe Shelter
A loving home is the foundation of transformation.
- Provide daily care, nutrition, and discipleship for 1,000 orphans and vulnerable children.
- Offer spiritual mentorship and emotional support to each child.
- Prepare for a permanent children’s home through the “Home of Hope” land campaign.
3. Feeding & Nutrition
A nourished child is a hopeful child.
- Serve 40,000 nutritious meals to children throughout the five years.
- Partner with local churches and volunteers to extend feeding outreaches to vulnerable communities.
- Establish a pilot kitchen garden to produce vegetables for daily meals.
4. Health & Sanitation
Health and hygiene are foundations of dignity.
- Conduct 4 major community medical outreaches.
- Distribute 1,000 hygiene kits to children and families.
- Provide clean water access (a well) and hygiene education at our centers.
- Include faith-based health talks promoting wholeness of body and spirit.

5. Community Empowerment
Building resilient families for a sustainable future.
- Support 100 families with small startup projects (goats, poultry, or farming inputs)
- Offer skills training and micro-enterprise workshops for women and youth.
- Organize monthly community fellowship for prayer and discipleship.
- Promote family strengthening programs to encourage unity and faith.
6. Growth, Partnerships & Sustainability
We believe in the power of collaboration.
- Gain 200 new child sponsors and 4 local business partners.
- Form 4 major international partnerships for long-term sustainability.
- Begin the “Land for Hope Campaign” acquire land for our permanent center and school to educate 3,000 vulnerable children.
