Healthy bodies create happy minds. We ensure children receive balanced, nutritious meals every day, giving them the energy to learn, play, and grow. In 2026, we aim to serve 9,500 meals to children throughout the year.
Life at the home goes beyond care. Children learn practical skills like personal hygiene, chores, teamwork, and responsibility — building confidence and independence for the future.
Playtime is essential for healing and joy. Through outdoor games, creative arts, and music, children develop social skills, self-expression, and lasting friendships.

At just 1 year old, Jennifer was abandoned and left without anyone to care for her. Her early life was filled with loneliness and uncertainty, with no safe place to call home.

For many of our children, school was once out of reach. Some had never stepped into a classroom, while others had their education interrupted by hardship. Here, we give them the chance to begin again.
While we currently partner with local schools, every child in our care is enrolled in school, supported by dedicated supporters or receives personalized academic support, mentorship, and tutoring to ensure they succeed in their studies. We provide school supplies, uniforms, and everything they need to feel proud and prepared. Our goal is to help children build a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.
Education at Nissi Project Uganda is not only about knowledge but also about character. Through faith-based guidance, mentorship, and weekly devotionals, children develop moral values, integrity, and a strong spiritual foundation that shapes their decisions and future.

Many of the children who come into our care arrive with untreated illnesses, malnutrition, or the deep exhaustion that comes from years of uncertainty. Our mission is to restore their health and their hope.
We address the full spectrum of each child's well-being — physical, dental, mental, and emotional.
We ensure children receive regular medical check-ups and treatment for illnesses through partnerships with local clinics and hospitals, helping them maintain good health. Our 2026 goals include conducting 2 major community medical outreaches and distributing 300 hygiene kits to children and families.
Good oral health is an important part of overall well-being. We provide dental check-ups, hygiene education, and basic dental care for children in our programs, ensuring they maintain healthy smiles and prevent future complications.
We recognize that emotional well-being is just as important as physical health. Our team provides counselling, mentorship, and support to help children cope with trauma, stress, and other challenges — healing the wounds that can't be seen.
Children are taught basic hygiene, sanitation, and healthy habits, empowering them to take care of themselves and reduce the risk of illness. We include faith-based health talks promoting wholeness of body and spirit, and provide clean water access at our centers.
